You can use AutoStow to automatically create a rehandles work queue specific to a vessel visit. Simultaneously, you can plan the containers to equipment control (EC) and add the work instructions to the new work queue or the old one, if it already exists.
To use this feature, set the AutoStow strategy parameter CFGRWQ (on page 1) to the required value. For example:
If you set this parameter to 2 and if any rehandles are needed for a generated AutoStow solution, AutoStow creates a new yard work queue named <vessel-ref>-Rehandles (for example "872038-Rehandles") and plan each of the identified containers to EC within the new work queue.
If you set this parameter to 1, AutoStow only plans accessible rehandles. Accessible containers are those containers that are not on the active vessel's load list and those that are not beneath such a container in the yard.
If CFGRWQ is set to 0, AutoStow does not create any work queue or additional work instruction.
If rehandle work instructions have been planned, select Vessel Autostow
Open Rehandles List to open the Rehandles Work Queue window.
Possible mismatch between AutoStow Summary Yard Shift count and the Required Rehandle count
Note that the AutoStow Summary Yard Shift counts will not necessarily match the Rehandle count. This is because the Yard Shift count considers containers to be picked from a blocked stack, whereas the Required Rehandle list does not.
If you revert a planned load move to the vessel, AutoStow does not automatically revert the moves in this rehandle work queue.
